About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide transactional SAP support including set-up of new projects and resource assignments
- Provide SAP maintenance for project budgets, sales orders and milestone billings
- Support the purchase order process including purchase requisition initiation, processing goods receipts and prepayments, and close coordination with accounts payable and external vendors
- Assist in shipping processes (maintaining commercial invoices and proof of delivery)
- Assist in gathering information to support claims, liquidated damages, change orders, etc.
- Provide ad-hoc reconciliations, reporting and analysis
- Assist in tax assessment process
- Assist in inventory reconciliation
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 Years of experience in a financial role for large projects
- BS in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or related experience
- Ability to work US-based working hours
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including advanced Excel skills
- Working knowledge of project accounting methods
- Working knowledge of project related activities
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Solid time-management skills
- Strong ability to multi-task
- A self-starter with a high degree of energy and careful attention to detail
- Preferred system experience: SAP S/4 HANA, Primavera Unifer
