About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate site performance in alignment with customer contractual commitments and expectations
- Develop point lists and perform data acquisition to support detailed performance analysis
- Conduct battery DC and AC data analysis using a variety of analytical tools
- Prepare and deliver testing reports for all customer projects during both execution and services phases
- Review and provide redlines to customer contracts during the sales phase
- Interpret performance exhibits and single line diagrams and develop acceptance test plans based on contractual requirements
- Plan, schedule, coordinate, and execute project work efficiently to meet deadlines
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and processes for performance engineering activities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with battery, sales, operations and execution, services, and product teams to identify and implement performance improvements, including design enhancements and testing strategies
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting and provide recommendations to improve site performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience working with an energy storage company
- Strong understanding of AWS tools such as S3 and SageMaker
- Proficiency in Python
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Willingness to travel domestically as needed
