About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead end‑to‑end payroll processing for multi‑state U.S. payroll, as well as Canadian and Chilean payroll cycles
Serve as the subject‑matter expert for employment tax compliance
Manage payroll tax registrations in new jurisdictions and oversee year‑end processes and filings
Calculate and withhold taxes related to equity compensation
Manage complex benefit deductions and ensure accurate mapping and posting to the General Ledger
Perform full‑cycle payroll reconciliations
Coordinate payroll funding requests with Treasury
Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process optimization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 6 years of experience in multi‑state U.S. payroll processing
Expert‑level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including XLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and data validation
Advanced experience with ADP Workforce Now
Bachelor's degree required
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a strong plus
Hands‑on experience processing Canadian and Chilean payroll is highly preferred
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex payroll and tax concepts to diverse stakeholders.
