About the role
- Manage, deliver, and support EDSG implementations that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions and technology solutions for Flowserve.
- Manage implementation risk, manage project economics including planning and budgeting, define deliverable content
- Ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the business, as well as IT governance, and be accountable for execution.
- Manage the day-to-day interactions with business management, IT, and Sponsor.
- Coach, mentor, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Ensure end to end project governance and execution in line with the IT standards.
- Lead a cross-functional team to achieve project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Use technology to ensure all parties are informed about schedule and budget.
- Keep stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, business analytics, or operational research
- 5-7 years of work experience in project management, business analytics, data analytics, and/or process design in fields such as Logistics, Supply Chain, Materials, Finance, IT, Data or Industrial Manufacturing environments
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Affinity with ERP and other IT Systems (Oracle, SAP, BPC, PowerBI, MS Office).
- Smartsheet and/or other Project Management tools
- Strong organizational, time management, and presentation skills to effectively communicate with all levels in the organization and possesses the ability to work in a cross-functional matrix environment.
- The ability to handle multiple projects or project tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to map current and future desired state for IT and Operational processes and create roadmaps out of that.
