About the role
- Responsible for replenishing, receiving, inspecting and accounting for all material used in plant.
- Makes inter-company shipments when necessary.
- Replenishes all required ingredients, wrapping and labeling supplies, and miscellaneous items.
- Receives and inspects all incoming shipments for damaged or unsanitary merchandise.
- Properly stores and rotates production supplies.
- Performs inventory of supplies on a weekly basis.
- Arranges for inter-company shipment(s) of materials to other plants.
- Delivers some supplies throughout the plant.
- Completes daily/weekly administrative paperwork.
- Ensures that work area is clean and organized.
Requirements
- One or more years experience in shipping/receiving operations.
- Computer experience with SAP/S4 and Excel is also desired.
- High School diploma or equivalency
