The Project Reconciliation Analyst will play a key role in performing final budget reconciliations, analyzing amendments for accurate billing, and collaborating with various teams to ensure financial accuracy.
This role will involve working closely with Accounts Receivable specialists, external partners (such as CROs or Sponsors), and internal teams to confirm figures and finalize any outstanding financial entries.
Perform final budget reconciliation, analyzing protocol/budget amendments for billing accuracy.
Aggregate and analyze data across systems to identify discrepancies and ensure completeness.
Collaborate with internal teams to confirm LTD figures and investigate/resolve variances.
Engage with external stakeholders (CROs/Sponsors) to align on final values and clear open AR balances.
Conduct budget analysis and interpretation to inform reconciliations and close-out decisions.
Prepare and action final journal entries.
Ensure data integrity by validating financial inputs and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
Contribute to financial reports, ensuring reconciliations and adjustments are accurately reflected.
Negotiate final values with CROs/Sponsors.
Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
Represent Flourish Research in a professional and courteous manner (verbal, written, and in appearance) when interacting with all staff, clients, and vendors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Clinical research experience preferred, but not required
Minimum of 1+ years of work experience, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas and pivot tables.
Advanced financial reconciliation skills with a focus on maximizing profits and identifying recovery opportunities.
Strong critical thinking and sound decision-making; detail-oriented, organized, and an effective communicator.
Excellent computer skills, including Office365 products.
Flexible and able to multi-task and prioritize competing demands.
Ability to work independently and influence cross-functional stakeholders when appropriate.
