About the role
- Create templates within the CTMS software (e.g., visit tracking, budgets, start-ups, and billable items) utilizing sponsor protocol and ICF, budget and contract, and any site-related vendor costs.
- Manage and update visit templates in the CTMS when protocol/budget amendments and ICF revisions occur.
- Assist in site template/AR clean-up as necessary and audit team members’ template builds for other sites to ensure consistency.
- Provide guidance on unique template-build scenarios while maintaining CTMS standards and consistencies.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement by sharing feedback on processes and participating in process-improvement initiatives.
- Provide training and day-to-day guidance to site clinical and financial staff; mentor new staff in collaboration with the Director of CTMS.
- Lead integrations of new site acquisitions within CTMS.
- Verify CTMS results by conducting system audits of technologies/updates implemented.
- Represent Flourish Research in a professional and courteous manner (verbal, written, and in appearance) when interacting with all staff, clients, and vendors.
- Additional duties as assigned by the Director of CTMS.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (experience using RealTime or similar CTMS strongly preferred).
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in clinical research with knowledge of clinical research systems and regulations and a strong understanding of research activities/processes at research sites.
- Preferred: 2–3 years of hands-on experience working in a CTMS (RealTime preferred).
- Experience with clinical operations and a strong quality and compliance mindset are highly preferred.
- Must be self-directed, flexible, organized, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Possess an analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent computer skills, including Office365; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working with large dataset manipulation.
