About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create real visibility into burn, runway, and unit economics.
Own budgets, business financial models, and forecasts.
Work alongside a Fractional CFO to prepare monthly financials.
Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen accuracy, scalability, and automation of financial reporting.
Own accounting/controller responsibilities and oversight.
Own and manage the tax process across our MSO/PC structure.
Own billing and collections, end-to-end.
Drive efforts to close the gap in the difference between net and gross revenue by owning billing analysis.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Has served in a finance or strategy leadership role at a startup or high-growth environment
10+ years of relevant experience in finance, strategy, investment banking, private equity, and operating roles
Includes 2+ years of early-stage startup operating experience
Includes 4+ years of people management experience
Can include supplemental relevant experience with this patient population
Experience building financial models and operating financial systems from the ground up
Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, especially with MSO/PC corporate structure
Experience with project management, cross-functional collaboration, and operations building
Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and at a detailed execution level
Must be at least 18 years old.
