About the role
- Perform both generative and evaluative research for FloSports' products across web, mobile, and connected TV
- Plan and conduct iterative usability tests (moderated and unmoderated)
- Perform ResearchOps tasks including updating the UXR CRM, recruiting and scheduling participants
- Execute research activities including interviews, moderated product baselines, unmoderated studies, diary studies, card sorts, tree tests, and contextual inquiries
- Archive work in the UXR Repository and tag research source material and reports
- Write reports and deliver findings to stakeholders and collaborators in Research & Design
- Collaborate directly with designers to validate and inform designs
- Analyze behavioral analytics data, design and interpret surveys, and present quantitative results from unmoderated usability studies
- May conduct onsite contextual inquiries at varied event locations (e.g., race tracks, cheer competitions)
Requirements
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods
- 1-3 years of experience in UX research
- Excellent presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Relevant portfolio
- Comfort with ambiguity
- Willingness to travel
- This role is required to be based in Austin, TX
- Work authorization in the United States (applicant must indicate authorization; employer asks about visa sponsorship)
- Master’s degree in relevant field (bonus)
- Experience with a research repository system like EnjoyHQ, Dovetail, Condens, Aurelius, etc. (bonus)
- Experience with UX research platforms and tools like Maze, dscout, Optimal Workshop, Lookback, UserZoom, etc. (bonus)
- Experience with behavioral analytics platforms like Mixpanel, Pendo, Heap, Amplitude, etc. (bonus)
- Experience with Figma (bonus)
- Awareness of Agile and how to work in an Agile system (bonus)
- Experience with both B2C and B2B research studies (bonus)
