About the role
- Create and execute event strategies to make Florida Window & Door stand out in every market.
- Attend and oversee shows and events across Miami/Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers/Naples, Daytona, Orlando, Tampa Bay, Palm Beach, and beyond.
- Recruit, train, and motivate event marketing staff to deliver their best work.
- Be on-site leading the action—ensure booths are buzzing, teams are engaged, and leads are flowing.
- Build relationships with event organizers and partners to secure prime spots and opportunities.
- Meet homeowners face-to-face at home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events and set appointments.
- Analyze results, celebrate wins, and fine-tune strategies for greater impact.
Requirements
- A people-person with excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm for engaging with the public.
- Experience in event marketing, lead generation, or experiential marketing (home improvement experience a plus).
- A natural trainer and motivator—you know how to coach a team to success.
- Ability to juggle multiple events and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy role.
- Flexibility to travel across the state and work evenings/weekends when events are happening.
- An entrepreneurial spirit—ability to run your own show while still being part of a team.
