About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a member of the central services team delivering pharmaceutical support to clinical staff.
Ensure delivery of therapeutic medication monitoring, protocol management, medication information, education, and performance improvement.
Collaborate with Hematology/Oncology physicians and nursing staff.
Coordinate the drug therapy process on Hematology/Oncology patient population including drug selection, dosing, monitoring, and compliance.
Provide clinical support and education in correlation with operational projects and objectives.

Requirements

What you’ll need

College degree in pharmacy required, PharmD preferred.
Licensed pharmacist, required
Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP), preferred
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a clinical pharmacist working in a hospital, home health, community oncology, or other infusion center.
Minimum requirement may be waived based on intensity of prior experience (i.e., completion of PGY-2 Oncology Residency program)
Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings.
