Clinical Oncology Pharmacist
Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute. Serve as a member of the central services team delivering pharmaceutical support to clinical staff.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a member of the central services team delivering pharmaceutical support to clinical staff.
- Ensure delivery of therapeutic medication monitoring, protocol management, medication information, education, and performance improvement.
- Collaborate with Hematology/Oncology physicians and nursing staff.
- Coordinate the drug therapy process on Hematology/Oncology patient population including drug selection, dosing, monitoring, and compliance.
- Provide clinical support and education in correlation with operational projects and objectives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- College degree in pharmacy required, PharmD preferred.
- Licensed pharmacist, required
- Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP), preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a clinical pharmacist working in a hospital, home health, community oncology, or other infusion center.
- Minimum requirement may be waived based on intensity of prior experience (i.e., completion of PGY-2 Oncology Residency program)
- Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings.
