About the role
- Visit clients in their homes to discuss their flooring projects
- Utilize our sales system with the help of a tablet, laptop, and software
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all flooring service inquiries
- Coordinate installation schedules and communication with the Production Manager
- Ensure customer needs and expectations are met, collaborating with the Production Manager for smooth project execution
- Develop lasting customer relationships and cultivate key referral sources for ongoing business growth
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of in-home and/or outside sales
- Competitive drive to exceed sales targets
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Pay attention to detail and possess strong organizational skills
- Uphold values of integrity and honesty
- Be computer literate and self-motivated
- Comfortable speaking confidently in public
- Flooring, construction, or design knowledge is advantageous
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Be available for homeowner appointments in the evenings and on weekends
