About the role
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available global network architectures
- Architect LAN/WAN, routing (BGP/OSPF), VLANs, ACLs, and segmentation strategies
- Configure, deploy and manage routers, switches & firewalls
- Lead firewall and VPN architecture (FortiGate, site-to-site & client VPN)
- Design hybrid cloud connectivity and multi-site network solutions
- Provide high-level escalation support and lead global infrastructure projects
- Define network standards, security policies, and best practices
Requirements
- 7+ years of network engineering experience with architectural responsibility
- Strong expertise in LAN/WAN, L2/L3 networks, BGP, routing, and ACLs
- Hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls and Cisco ASR routers
- Experience with VPN technologies and NAC (802.1X)
- Strong design mindset with ability to lead global initiatives
- High advantage: working on Equinix environment, with Fabric and Edge services
- Advantages: Linux networking (DPDK/SR-IOV), automation, IoT/telecom experience
