About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrated ability to perform precise legal research
  • Ability to analyze legislative proposals and track regulatory changes
  • Strong track record partnering cross-functionally across legal, communications, and external affairs teams
  • Proven ability to review and refine high-stakes communications with attention to detail and policy sensitivity
  • Deep analytical skills to distill complex statutory requirements into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Background in law or public policy
  • Experience in government, legal, or policy-focused environments welcomed
  • Ability to work lawfully in the United States
  • Ability to meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) certification requirements if required, including FBI CJIS Security Policy requirements and a fingerprint-based background check
