About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Join our Cloud Video team to build low-latency live video capabilities.
Contribute to the development of cloud-based live and recorded video capabilities.
Work on ingestion, encoding, packaging, and delivery processes.
Integrate and consume 3rd party cameras.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve community safety with video solutions.
Own smaller projects and contribute to technical planning and discussions.
Provide meaningful feedback on PR and architecture.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with Video/Streaming technologies such as WebRTC, HLS, RTSP, FFmpeg (libav), etc.
Experience with Ingestion, encoding, packaging and delivery of live and recorded video
Experience integrating with FFmpeg libraries such as libav
Experience with Go and Typescript (Node) web services
Experience with AWS and cloud tooling such as Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, Prometheus, Grafana
Love writing code and have extensive experience doing so
Motivated by taking an unknown problem, sinking your teeth in, and coming up with a plan of attack.
Experience designing and implementing APIs.
Ivs, livekit, and orchestration experience a plus
Ability to work cross-functionally with other engineering and product teams
