About the role

  • We are seeking a Director, IT AI/Integrations to join our growing corporate IT team and build out a new functional pillar in the IT team to lead Saas integrations and employ AI solutions for business efficiency and improved quality.
  • This role will lead an Automation/AI Roadmap to optimize a connected Saas systems architecture, integrations, workflows, while also driving the company’s enterprise AI/MCP strategy.
  • This role serves as a bridge between business units, IT Applications, IT Project Management, Data & Analytics, and Security teams—ensuring applications, data, and workflows are aligned with business goals, future-ready for scale, and infused with AI where appropriate.
  • A successful candidate will standardize across a unified WorkatoOne MCP platform, design and implement scalable Saas integrations, incorporating agentic AI-driven capabilities into the ecosystem while ensuring governance, data security, and compliance.
  • This role will also build and lead a team to collaborate closely with cross-functional business department stakeholders as Flock drives AI into more business processes for scale.
  • Implement frameworks and strategy to manage AI tools that achieve efficiency and productivity goals while managing risk, privacy and compliance.
  • Provide technical vision to lead the design and governance of APIs, web services, middleware, and AI frameworks across a suite of SaaS business applications, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
  • Collaborate with Architects and cross-functional business teams to compile a prioritized, rolling Automations/AI Roadmap that aligns with business strategy for greater efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience designing and implementing integration solutions, including 5+ years leading technical resources in dynamic, high-growth environments.
  • Experience working with WorkatoOne to integrate SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Gainsight, Rippling) and build an MCP platform.
  • Experience applying emerging AI/ML solutions in Generative AI and Agentic AI (e.g., WorkatoOne, ChatGPT, Glean, Replit) that automate business workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of integration methods such as API (SOAP, REST), JSON, MFT, Pub/Sub, Webhooks, Event Driven Architecture, etc.
  • Familiarity with authentication and authorization standards such as OAuth2, JWT, SAML, and API key-based security.
  • Understanding of data solutions, structures, mapping, transformation, ETL processes for ease of collaboration with the Data & Analytics team (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake).
  • Ability to mentor and guide cross-functional departments, fostering a culture of experimentation, continuous learning, and innovation to build and scale AI capabilities.
  • Curious mindset and ability to stay on top of emerging AI technologies and trends.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, fully-remote environment in high-tech, hyper-growth industry preferred.
