About the role
- Review and proofread translations to ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and brand consistency.
- Support in managing translation workflows, including issuing and tracking string keys.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to optimize localization integrations and tools (e.g., Smartling, Lokalise, Crowdin, Phrase).
- Maintain glossaries, termbases, and style guides to ensure consistent terminology, in partnership with the UX writer and product designers.
- Ensure proper text encoding and formatting across supported languages, including RTL (right-to-left) languages.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in localization or translation operations (preferably in crypto, fintech, or SaaS).
- Expertise in localization tools (e.g., Smartling, Lokalise, Crowdin, Phrase).
- Fluency in Korean or English is required.
- Fluency in the target languages is required (Russian).
- Knowledge of translation terms (e.g., TMS, translation memory, machine translations, etc.).
- Familiarity with crypto/Web3 terminology and industry-specific language challenges.
