• Product impact: As the market-facing interface, you gather valuable insights and work directly with our Product Owners to continuously improve Flip.
• Presence: Together with your team you represent Flip at trade shows and industry events and become the face of our mission.

Artificial Intelligence

• Re-structuring our Notion workspace: consolidating pages, building an archive structure, and establishing naming and organizational logic
• Creating the foundation for our AI knowledge base: classifying, tagging, and meaningfully linking content so our AI can build on it later
• Co-developing standards and guidelines in Notion: documenting and applying conventions for pages, databases, and properties
• Supporting day-to-day IT operations in a cloud-only environment (e.g. account and license management, documenting setups, simple troubleshooting tasks)
• Working with InfoSec, IT, and other teams to understand and implement requirements for structure, access, and content

Working Student, AI Knowledge Management – IT

Werkstudent – AI Knowledge Management, IT

Operations

• You are responsible for structuring, reviewing, and approving Order Forms, NDAs, and DPAs. You assess commercial, legal, and data protection risks from a business perspective and make well-founded, confident decisions within defined frameworks - including situations where fast clarity is required.
• You actively drive the development and use of internal AI tools to automate recurring questions. This includes, among others, security questionnaires as well as standard questions related to contracts, data protection, and IT security. Your goal is to build a scalable, centralized knowledge and decision-making system for commercial deals.
• You serve as the first point of contact for Commercial, Legal, Data Privacy (GDPR), and Information Security topics. You independently resolve standard and recurring issues and selectively involve internal experts or external law firms for more complex matters. In doing so, you create clarity and significantly reduce the load on C-level and operational teams.
• You work closely with the Revenue Operations team to operationalize pricing strategies and deal structures, ensuring commercial guardrails are upheld without slowing down the sales cycle.

Manager, Commercial Operations / Deal Desk

• As Manager, Commercial Operations / Deal Desk you are the strategic partner for Sales, Customer Success and Finance and report directly to our CFO.
• You operate at the intersection of Commercial, Legal and Technology and ensure that enterprise deals are closed quickly, cleanly and scalably—backed by experience, sound judgment and consistent use of AI.
• You don’t just review deals, you shape them. With your mandate you make independent decisions and resolve about 80% of all commercial, legal and data protection issues yourself.
• You are responsible for structuring and approving Order Forms, NDAs and DPAs. In doing so, you assess commercial, legal and data-protection risks with a business-minded approach and make well-founded, confident decisions within defined boundaries—even when quick clarity is required.
• You actively drive the development and adoption of internal AI tools to automate recurring questions.

Manager, Commercial Operations – Deal Desk

Backend Engineer

• Lead a team of engineers designing, developing and operating integration services that connect our customers’ internal systems with Flip (e.g. HR systems, knowledge bases)
• Push forward our integration platform, a dedicated runtime environment for custom integrations (based on Kubernetes and ArgoCD).
• Our tech stack is mostly JVM-based (Kotlin, Micronaut), some components are written in Python and JavaScript.
• We work remote within international (mostly European), cross-functional agile teams.
• We develop software following modern software engineering practices (API first, code reviews, automated tests, MR environments for exploratory testing before a merge, and some tasteful experimental AI augmentation).
• We deploy (Kubernetes, Helm) and monitor (Grafana, Sentry, Mixpanel) our services within the teams, with the support of a separate team of SREs for on-call duty.
• Join customer calls together with your product manager to understand their specific problems and empower your team to build solutions that cover a majority of customer contexts.
• Take charge on technical topics that are important to you, driving significant decisions, and seeking alignment across teams within our backend guild.

Lead Backend Engineer, Integrations

Recruitment

• Own end-to-end hiring for all roles, with a strong focus on Sales and Engineering.
• Act as a trusted strategic partner to hiring managers: role scoping, success profiles, and hiring plans.
• Design and run a scalable, data-driven recruiting process, balancing speed, quality, and candidate experience.
• Own recruiting metrics, dashboards, and reporting (e.g. time-to-hire, funnel conversion, quality-of-hire, source effectiveness).
• Use AI tools and automation to dramatically improve sourcing, screening, outreach, assessments, and analytics.
• Build proactive talent pipelines by crafting innovative sourcing strategies that go beyond job boards, tapping into networks, events, and passive talent pools.
• Own the referral program as well as coordinate and manage external agencies/headhunters when needed.
• Continuously improve hiring processes and educate stakeholders on modern, AI-enabled recruiting.
• Act as a Talent Brand Ambassador for Flip, nurturing candidate relationships and promoting an exceptional candidate experience.
• Run internal referral jams to increase our already amazing number of referrals.
• Help grow and strengthen Flip’s employer brand through various social media channels and own the Employer Value Proposition playbook for Flip.
• Proactively problem solve any hiring issues/challenges to meet our hiring goals.

Talent Acquisition Manager

• You own the entire recruiting function — with a focus on Sales and Engineering roles
• Work closely with hiring managers as a true sparring partner — from role definition and success profiles to the hiring plan
• Build and evolve a scalable, data-driven recruiting setup that combines speed, quality and candidate experience
• Responsible for recruiting KPIs, dashboards and reporting (e.g., time-to-hire, funnel conversions, quality-of-hire, source effectiveness)
• Use AI tools and automation to make sourcing, screening, outreach and reporting more efficient
• Build strong talent pipelines through creative and innovative sourcing strategies that go beyond traditional job boards (networks, events, passive candidates)
• Manage our referral program and collaborate with agencies/headhunters when needed
• Continuously optimize our hiring processes and enable stakeholders in the area of modern, AI-supported recruiting
• Act as a Talent Brand Ambassador for Flip — actively shape a positive, respectful candidate experience
• Plan and run internal referral jams to further increase our strong referral rate
• Actively shape and strengthen Flip's employer brand across various social media channels and own our Employer Value Proposition playbook
