About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the financial management of Fliff’s organization
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Deliver accurate, timely financial reports, including budgeting, tax documents, month-end and year-end close reports, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and additional financial reports
- Analyze financial data and report on profitability, revenue growth, cash flow, and other key financial metrics
- Process payroll and manage contractor payments
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Participate in ad hoc projects supporting other functions and overall business objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- Familiarity with financial reporting standards, including GAAP or IFRS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret financial data and identify trends and insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- Self-starter able to operate with minimal supervision
- Proven track record of managing upward
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
