About the role

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Lead to drive aggressive growth for our Memory Product portfolio in the Industrial, Medical, and Automotive sectors.
  • This role is for a hunter – a leader who thrives on identifying and winning new business opportunities, breaking revenue ceilings, and expanding market share.
  • Develop and execute bold growth strategies, lead a high-performing team, and ensure our memory products remain competitive and profitable in evolving markets.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the Business Development team to achieve ambitious growth targets.
  • Develop and implement a clear business growth plan targeting IMA sector opportunities.
  • Align sales and market strategies with company objectives and evolving industry trends.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new customers and partnerships in target markets.
  • Drive expansion into untapped regions, industries, and strategic accounts.
  • Negotiate and close high-value deals, ensuring profitability and long-term relationships.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Expand business within existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Track and report on sales pipelines, conversion rates, and revenue performance and present regular business reviews to senior management.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth in the Industrial, Medical, or Automotive sectors.
  • Hunter mentality – relentless in identifying and capturing new business opportunities.
  • Familiarity with the memory market and experience in the relevant industry will be a strong advantage.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in business development, sales leadership, or key account management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and ability to position mature products competitively.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business plans and go-to-market strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire a team to meet aggressive targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
