About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner closely with Technical Recruiting to initiate background checks (BG), drug tests (DT), motor vehicle reports (MVR), and any additional required pre-employment screenings prior to technician deployment
  • Process onboarding documentation within our ATS, HRIS, and third-party platforms, including new hire paperwork, Form I-9 completion, and ITAR pre-certification, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Monitor and maintain all active pre-employment processes, including BG/DT/MVR results, onboarding documentation, and Form I-9 completion throughout the workday to ensure timely progress toward deployment
  • Support rapid deployment timelines by prioritizing urgent screenings and onboarding requirements
  • Communicate effectively with technicians throughout the pre-employment process via phone, text, and email, providing guidance, troubleshooting issues, and addressing delays or time-sensitive concerns
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve pre-employment issues quickly and efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1–2+ years of experience in pre-employment, onboarding, recruiting coordination, HR administration, or a related field preferred
  • General understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment-related documentation
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity, professionalism, and discretion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and technicians
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to adapt to changing business needs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Experience with or ability to quickly learn ATS, HRIS, and third-party vendor platforms, including Paylocity , UKG , and Bullhorn
