About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Critically review existing BI processes and solutions, identify weaknesses and improvement opportunities, and develop solution concepts
Bring order to heterogeneous data sources: consolidate and cleanly prepare data using Microsoft SQL Server BI tools
Actively participate in building and expanding the data warehouse and analytical models: migrate relational data into the DWH and continuously evolve underlying data structures and models
Investigate functional discrepancies in BI models; reconcile and ensure a consistent and reliable data foundation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in (business) informatics/computer science or an equivalent qualification
Several years of practical experience in ETL/SSIS and in database development with T-SQL
Familiarity with concepts such as Kimball, star schema, OLAP, or Tabular
Initial experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or Python/PySpark is a plus but not required
Self-driven, analytical, and structured working style
Openness to new technologies and interest in professional development
German language skills at least at C1 level
