About the role
- Ensure the stable, secure and uninterrupted operation of Microsoft 365 services
- Continuously evolve the M365 platform while considering adjacent technologies, in particular Microsoft Teams, Entra ID, Exchange Online, and hybrid operating models
- Coordinate technical, organizational and security-related requirements for the M365 service
- Work closely with internal business units and IT stakeholders
- Manage external service providers and align interfaces
- Take responsibility for governance, lifecycle, compliance and user adoption topics
- Provide technical oversight of the operational tasks of a team of four (no disciplinary managerial responsibility)
Requirements
- Degree in an IT-related field, an IT-related vocational qualification or equivalent practical experience
- Several years of experience with Microsoft 365 in a corporate environment, both in operational support and in platform development
- Knowledge of the ITIL framework and experience with project management methods and agile ways of working
- Process-oriented mindset and ability to set priorities in a structured manner
- Very good communication and presentation skills
- Team-oriented, solution-focused working style with a high degree of personal responsibility
- Strong service orientation and organizational skills
- Very good command of German, spoken and written (at least C1)
