About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build team to measure success by what changes for customers not just what ships
- Establish and model discovery practices that ensure the team is solving real problems
- Set the standard for requirements quality
- Introduce AI-assisted ways of working into the product development process
- Lead, develop, and manage the existing India-based product management team
- Conduct honest performance assessments
- Partner with the US VP of Product to translate product vision into an executable roadmap
- Drive delivery accountability across product and engineering in the region
- Identify and eliminate process gaps that slow teams down
- Establish operating norms that allow the team to function effectively
Requirements
What you’ll need- 12+ years in product management, with at least 4 years leading PM teams
- A demonstrable track record of moving teams from feature factories to outcome-driven product organizations
- Deep discovery instincts: you know how to get to the real customer problem
- Strong requirements craft
- Direct experience with performance management and team transitions
- Active curiosity about AI-assisted product development
- Experience working effectively with US-based leadership across significant time zones
