About the role
- Collaborate on solution design specifications for the IMS platform, identifying innovative approaches to meet business requirements while upholding robust and reliable technical standards.
- Offer domain-specific knowledge and overall technical expertise to the IMS Development Team within a supportive and innovative environment.
- Deliver exceptional support to our growing user base.
- Occasionally visit customer sites to install and commission IMS implementations.
- Partner with external customers to identify and assist in developing specifications for product enhancements.
- Adhere to agile methodology and utilise Scrum in our projects.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Over 5 years of professional experience in software development.
- Expertise in full-stack development utilising the latest .NET Core frameworks.
- Proficient in creating dynamic, responsive front-end API designs and integrations using ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript/jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, and Bootstrap, along with SQL-based database design and optimisation using Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and SOLID principles.
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) employing unit-testing frameworks.
- User-focused and empathetic, with a keen understanding of the challenges our customers face and how they use our products now and in the future.
- Driven by curiosity and a desire to learn new technologies and explore modern development patterns.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering highly available, scalable cloud-based systems.
