About the role
- Process fortnightly payroll, PAYG, superannuation, and other payroll tasks for Australia and New Zealand
- Maintain and update employee records in the payroll system to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare terminations, redundancies, and other payroll-related calculations as required.
- Manage payroll tax and Workers’ Compensation reconciliations, lodgements, and processing.
- Prepare payroll reports for Finance and People & Culture teams.
- Respond to payroll enquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Experienced in end-to-end payroll processing across BOTH Australia and New Zealand
- Strong Excel skills, excellent communication skills and attention to details.
- Familiar with taxation including FBT, PAYG and PAYE
- iChris payroll system or Workday system knowledge is preferred
- Understanding of modern awards and enterprise agreements.
