About the role
- Provide advanced technical and economic advisory support to mineral owners and federal agencies
- Conduct sophisticated reservoir simulations and characterizations to maximize oil and gas production
- Evaluate grant applications and monitor assigned grants
- Formulate comprehensive plans for the development of oil and gas and other minerals
- Provide oil, gas, and mineral training and education to Tribal communities
- Support marketing and promotion of Tribal energy resources
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Petroleum Engineering or closely related discipline; Master’s preferred
- 6-8 years of progressively responsible experience spanning drilling, completions/stimulation, production operations, petrophysics/log interpretation, and reservoir engineering/economic evaluation
- Demonstrated success in reserves assessment and field development planning
- Significant experience leading well and facility design
- Commercial and regulatory interface experience
- Proven capability in project economics
- Track record of executive-level presentations
- Supervisory/mentoring experience
