About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide direct patient care, assessment, and triage for adult and pediatric patients in walk-in and scheduled appointments.
  • Administer oral and parental medications, immunizations, and wound care as ordered by licensed providers.
  • Assist with clinical procedures, point-of-care testing, and patient education.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Document all clinical activities accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) within 48 hours of service.
  • Address patient concerns over the phone, review clinic schedules, and manage appointments.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accreditation agency
  • At least two (2) years of recent clinical experience in direct patient care within a healthcare (e.g., hospital) or ambulatory setting
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Ability to ensure strict compliance with HIPAA, infection control, and IHS standards of care
