About the role
- Serve as the project coordinator and senior technical resource for DRIS geospatial modernization efforts
- Coordinate project tasks across the GIS team and act as the primary liaison between contractor management and the federal COR
- Lead development of geospatial dashboards, web applications, and visualization tools that support DRIS and OTS leadership
- Develop scripts and automation tools to strengthen geospatial workflows and parcel fabric processes
- Apply cartographic and spatial analysis techniques to produce mapping products tailored to stakeholder needs
- Collaborate closely with federal GIS specialists, analysts, and program staff on cross-functional mapping initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, or related field; equivalent experience considered
- Strong knowledge of legal land descriptions, rights-of-way, and lease records
- Advanced proficiency with ESRI technologies, including ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise, and Parcel Fabric
- Experience developing dashboards, scripts, and automated workflows
- Substantial experience with parcel mapping, trust land datasets, parcel fabric, and geospatial workflow development
