About the role
- Serve as the project manager for the team
- Develop geospatial dashboards/applications to support leadership and OTS Division Chief missions
- Manage the Internal and External Portal as well as the Open Data Page
- Develop scripts as needed to support geospatial workflows and applications
- Ensure all new digital spatial data has appropriate FGDC-compliant metadata produced for each dataset
- Document all procedures that do not already have SOPs for data consistency and knowledge transfer
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, remote sensing, geospatial technology, or natural science
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant geospatial experience
- 5 years of experience leading a team, group, or department
- Extensive experience and knowledge working on similar projects
- Proficiency in utilizing various technologies including SmartsheetGOV and the ESRI Suite of GIS software
- Experience in dashboard/application development, data analysis, and business analytics
- Specific technical knowledge related to this contract includes ESRI Dashboard and Portal development
- SQL Server/Microsoft Access/Oracle database support
- Skilled in documenting procedures (SOPs) for data consistency
