About the role

  • Build and lead a team of Field Merchant Payment Consultants in your territory
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard top-performing merchant payments sales professionals
  • Drive merchant acquisition across SMB businesses with physical locations
  • Conduct ride-alongs and coaching sessions to develop your sales team
  • Support Consultants in closing key deals and managing large opportunities
  • Develop territory growth strategies and maintain a strong pipeline
  • Monitor team performance and ensure consistent achievement of sales targets
  • Provide market insights and competitive feedback to leadership
  • Represent Flatpay locally and establish the brand with business owners

Requirements

  • Experience in merchant payments or payment processing sales
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Experience managing or mentoring field-based sellers
  • Strong recruiting and team development capabilities
  • Ability to manage pipeline forecasting and territory strategy
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build a market from the ground up
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
