About the role
- Build and lead a team of Field Merchant Payment Consultants in your territory
- Recruit, hire, and onboard top-performing merchant payments sales professionals
- Drive merchant acquisition across SMB businesses with physical locations
- Conduct ride-alongs and coaching sessions to develop your sales team
- Support Consultants in closing key deals and managing large opportunities
- Develop territory growth strategies and maintain a strong pipeline
- Monitor team performance and ensure consistent achievement of sales targets
- Provide market insights and competitive feedback to leadership
- Represent Flatpay locally and establish the brand with business owners
Requirements
- Experience in merchant payments or payment processing sales
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Experience managing or mentoring field-based sellers
- Strong recruiting and team development capabilities
- Ability to manage pipeline forecasting and territory strategy
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build a market from the ground up
- Strong communication and leadership skills
