About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the growth of merchant payments business in your market
- Recruit, coach, and manage a team of Field Merchant Payment Consultants
- Drive new merchant acquisition across your territory
- Conduct ride-alongs and coaching sessions to develop your sales team
- Support Consultants in closing key deals and managing large opportunities
- Develop territory growth strategies and maintain a strong pipeline
- Monitor team performance and ensure consistent achievement of sales targets
- Provide market insights and competitive feedback to leadership
- Represent Flatpay locally and establish the brand with business owners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in merchant payments or payment processing sales
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Experience managing or mentoring field-based sellers
- Strong recruiting and team development capabilities
- Ability to manage pipeline forecasting and territory strategy
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build a market from the ground up.
