About the role
- As a Field Sales Manager in Dijon, you are the heart and soul of our sales engine.
- This is a mobile role: you will cover the entire region and play a central role in Flatpay’s business development.
- Your primary responsibility will be to sell our solutions during in-person, face-to-face sales meetings with owners of small and medium-sized businesses.
- Our internal lead generation team will prequalify and schedule the majority of your sales meetings.
- You will also be expected to proactively generate your own sales opportunities through cold-prospecting visits, client referrals, and by leveraging your own network.
- To maximize your productivity and success, we will provide comprehensive training.
- Once you have sold our solutions, you will also be responsible for delivering and installing the equipment.
- Your performance will be measured by your ability to meet and exceed monthly installation targets and the associated payment transaction volume.
Requirements
- Enthusiastic about selling
- Comfortable working in the field and visiting prospective clients
- Resilient during cold prospecting visits and able to stay motivated despite repeated rejections
- Able to work independently and manage your own day
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Driven to meet — and exceed — specific monthly targets
- Proficient in French and English
- Valid driver’s license required
- Prior sales or customer-facing experience is a plus but is not required to join Flatpay.
