About the role

  • As a Field Sales Representative / Sales Manager in Strasbourg, you will be the heart and soul of our sales engine.
  • This is a field-based role: you will cover the entire region and play a central role in Flatpay’s commercial development.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to sell our solutions during in-person, face-to-face sales meetings with small and medium-sized business owners.
  • Our internal lead generation team will prequalify and schedule the majority of your sales meetings.
  • You will also be expected to proactively create your own sales opportunities through cold prospecting visits, customer referrals and by leveraging your personal network.
  • To maximize your productivity and success, we have developed a tailored, proven sales approach and will provide you with comprehensive training.
  • After selling our solutions, you will also be responsible for delivering and installing the equipment.
  • Your goal will be to sell and install as many solutions as possible, at the best possible price.
  • Your performance will be measured by your ability to meet and exceed monthly installation targets and the associated payment transaction volume.

Requirements

  • Enthusiastic about selling
  • Comfortable working in the field and visiting prospective customers
  • Resilient during cold prospecting visits and able to stay motivated despite repeated rejections
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of your day
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Motivated to meet — and exceed — specific monthly targets
  • Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Driver’s license required
  • While prior sales or customer-facing experience is an asset, it is not required to join Flatpay.
