About the role

  • As a Field Sales Representative / Sales Manager in Langon, you are the heart and soul of our sales engine.
  • This is a field-based role: you'll cover the entire region and be at the core of Flatpay's business development.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to sell our solutions during face-to-face meetings with owners of small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Our internal lead generation team will pre-qualify and schedule the majority of your sales appointments.
  • You will also proactively generate your own opportunities through cold prospecting visits, customer referrals, and by leveraging your own network.
  • To maximize your productivity and success, we've developed a tailored, proven sales approach and will provide comprehensive training.
  • After selling our solutions, you will also be responsible for delivering and installing the equipment.
  • Your objective will be to sell and install as many solutions as possible at the best possible price.
  • Your performance will be measured by your ability to meet and exceed monthly installation targets and the associated payment transaction volume.

Requirements

  • Enthusiastic about selling
  • Comfortable working in the field and visiting potential clients
  • Resilient during cold prospecting and able to stay motivated in the face of repeated rejection
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of your workday
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Motivated to work towards — and exceed — specific monthly targets
  • Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Driving license required
  • Previous sales experience or experience in customer-facing roles is an advantage but not required to join Flatpay.
