About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable automated test scripts using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript)
- Contribute to the design, enhancement, and optimisation of end-to-end, API, and UI test automation frameworks
- Leverage AI-assisted testing tools (e.g., self-healing locators, intelligent test generation, failure analysis) to improve automation efficiency and coverage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, define test strategies, and ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Perform root cause analysis for defects, flaky tests, and automation failures, and implement improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 4–8 years of experience in software testing or test automation
- Hands-on project experience in:
- - Test automation using Playwright frameworks
- - Writing scalable and maintainable scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript
- - API testing, debugging, and validation
- Familiarity with AI-powered QA tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude)
- Strong understanding of Agile Scrum processes and methodology, and experience with mapping test cases to user stories and acceptance criteria
- Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills
