Senior Solutions Engineer – Cybercrime

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with the sales team to articulate the value of the Flare platform to prospective customers
- Understand customer requirements, field technical questions, and demonstrate platform capabilities by finding a prospects exposures
- Develop use-cases, technical demos, and manage Proof of Concepts (POCs) end-to-end
- Build strong relationships with technical stakeholders in customer organizations
- Deliver threat briefings to sector ISACs (FS-ISAC, H-ISAC, RH-ISAC), connecting active cybercrime campaigns to the exposure member organizations actually face
- Act as the analyst in the middle for enterprise customers and prospects, interpreting Flare findings in real time: leaked credentials, exposed infrastructure, threat actor mentions, and infostealer infections tied to their environment
- Train sales team members on the technical aspects of Flare’s platform
- Act as a technical consultant across Flare, supporting product, marketing, and other initiatives
- Collaborate with the Threat Intelligence Research team, feeding field observations back into research and product, and contributing findings to external content where appropriate
- Stay current on the CTI and cybercrime ecosystem and keep that knowledge mapped to customer risk
- Represent Flare at events, speaking engagements, and webinars; contribute to content like tutorials and videos
- Support deal execution across multiple time zones (East to West coast), as required
- Flexibility to travel as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant pre- and/or post-sales experience from a cybersecurity vendor in the threat intelligence space
- Hands-on familiarity with the cybercrime ecosystem: stealer logs, phishing kits, underground forums and markets, Telegram, and the actors and infrastructure behind them
- Able to write simple automations in Python or Go
- Comfortable as the primary technical contact during the sales process - leading demos, owning POCs, and resolving blockers
- Keen attention to detail and pride in thorough, accurate documentation
- Consistently keep stakeholders updated - no one ever has to chase you
- Cybersecurity, OSINT, or threat intelligence expertise in areas such as: Cybercrime, e-crime, or darkweb investigations; Incident Response; Penetration testing or Red Teaming; Threat Hunting & Research
- Comfortable delivering threat briefings to community or ISAC audiences, not just customer demos
- Confidently engage with both technical and non-technical audiences - from analysts to executives
- Comfortable with structured processes but also thrive in the ambiguity of a startup (“building the plane as it’s flying”)
- Lead with curiosity and empathy, and genuinely care about clients and colleagues
