About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Building and managing commercial loan relationships within the Sponsor industry
Generating new business development and relationships that will produce revenue from companies, sponsors, and the like
Orchestrating a team approach to managing relationships
Managing a commercial loan portfolio ensuring highest loan quality with minimal risk
Pro-active monitoring of the credit quality of the portfolio
Maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines
Performing special projects and additional duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School or equivalent
Undergraduate Degree in business, finance or related field, preferred
10+ Years of experience as a Relationship Manager
Experience specific to sponsor finance, required
5+ years of experience with commercial lending credit
Advanced knowledge of commercial lending credit, underwriting and loan structuring skills
Advanced analytical skills to understand financial and cash flow analyses
Advanced negotiation skills in addition to excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including; Word and Excel
Some travel may be required.
