About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Flagstar’s Employee Relations function as a trusted advisor.
- Establish and execute the Bank’s employee relations strategy.
- Oversee complex investigations involving misconduct, harassment, and discrimination.
- Develop resources, tools, and standards for employee relations.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Analyze case trends and propose actionable insights for reducing risks.
- Facilitate risk assessments and partner with Legal, Compliance, and Risk.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, or related field.
- 10+ Years of progressive experience in employee relations, workplace investigations, employment law, labor relations, or related experience.
- 3 years of people management experience.
- Professional certification from SHRM or HRCI preferred.
