💰 $140,000 - $190,000 per year

About the role

  • Identify and solicit new business prospects through direct contacting efforts
  • Develop partnerships with Flagstar bankers across Commercial and Private Banking Groups
  • Leverage industry insight, product knowledge, and communication skills to develop strong relationships with new & existing clients
  • Achieve/exceed new business volume quotas and portfolio growth goals set annually by management
  • Evaluate all aspects of potential transactions including financial position of clients and transaction structure
  • Partner with credit and documentation teams to meet service expectations and manage risk
  • Monitor existing client creditworthiness on an ongoing basis
  • Analyze and resolve problems pertaining to client transactions and service levels
  • Perform special projects and additional duties as required

Requirements

  • High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent
  • 4+ Years’ sales experience in similar equipment financing environment, with a verifiable production history
  • Expert knowledge of equipment financing products, pricing, and structure
  • Professional communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Foundational understanding of financial/credit policies and financial statements
  • Ability to build a pipeline of qualified prospects through referrals, cold-calling, and networking
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Proficiency with Super TRUMP, T Value and other CRM applications
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time
  • Strong attention to detail
