About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the Accuracy of All Financial Reporting: Monthly close (< 7 days), Revenue Recognition, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, P&L accuracy, Cashflow Reporting
Daily Accounting Operations: build/optimize the Accounting Infrastructure, review bookkeeping, oversee inventory counts, cost audits
Compliance: Tax, Audit, Regulatory. Maintain strong internal controls, ensure readiness for audits, manage relationships with external advisors/auditors
Business Partner to the Founders: budget vs actual variance analysis, operational insights, evaluate capital allocation opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need

4-6 years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 or strong regional firm)
Experienced Senior or Manager-level preferred
CPA or Masters of Accounting preferred
Experience in eCommerce or SaaS businesses
Strong understanding of Revenue Recognition, Inventory and COGS Accounting, Financial Controls
High attention to detail without losing business context
