About the role
- Ensure that users and developers of our internal systems are well supported
- Manage a team charged with a blend of internal user support, systems administration, systems reliability, and internal incident management responsibilities
- Lead overall team growth and support planning
- Hire, coach, and mentor talented team members
- Optimize our support process to ensure we are aligned with the needs of the business
- Closely align with other leaders in the organization and execute on OKRs (objectives and metrics) to measure the overall team’s success
- Develop and execute on strategy for continuous improvement of our Support Team SLAs and data quality targets.
- Manage the collaboration and handoff with other engineering teams
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an internal systems engineer, or the equivalent combination of engineering and system administration experience.
- Demonstrated success leading internal systems teams
- Technical skills that include some of the following: Salesforce Apex and Flow, SQL, Any general-purpose programming language
- Experience with production support, such as data quality or incident management
- A strong sense of empathy for our customers - other Fivetranners!
