About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Launch new customers on Five Sigma’s SaaS platform and onboard existing customers
Build initial application configuration and review platform settings and functionality
Manage projects throughout their lifecycle from initiation through successful go-live, within scope, time, and budget
Plan and manage large-scale, high-risk, or strategic projects
Evaluate complex situations and identify viable customer solutions
Manage project stakeholder relationships, progress, issues, requirements, and deliverables
Apply project management methodologies, tools, and procedures
Analyze risks, establish contingency plans, and identify mitigation responsibilities
Learn client organizations, processes, teams, and desired outcomes
Gather and document operational and technical requirements with client teams
Ensure timely project completion and transition clients to Customer Support & Success
Create end-user training and establish go-live and post-production support channels
Plan and manage project resource allocation with relevant departments
Manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously
Provide technical, business consulting, and product expertise to customers
Configure product features within contractual constraints or identify change requests
Identify implementation use cases, roles, and business requirements
Occasionally assist during pre-sale engagements
Travel to meet clients when required

Requirements

What you’ll need

More than 5 years of project management experience in Insurtech large-scale strategic projects
Knowledge of project management processes including task planning, resource allocation, risk management, time management, financial management, quality management, monitoring and reporting, documentation, and record keeping
Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with people from different disciplines and varying levels of technical experience
Clear, concise, and tactful communication with senior executives, clients, peers, and team members
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with multiple constituents
Strong client-facing and internal communication skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking skills
Experience writing functional business and technical requirements
Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs within project scope and statement of work
Strong technical background and technical understanding
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams within a formalized methodology
PMP certification and/or other industry and project management certifications are an additional benefit
