About the role
- Own the development and evolution of Five Iron’s Private Events product offering, including packages, pricing frameworks, food & beverage structures, premium add-ons, and new event formats.
- Lead segmentation work using a buyer-based framework: segment = different buyer; product = different experience.
- Build a clearer product architecture connecting segment ? product ? localization ? sales and marketing execution.
- Use customer behavior, sales performance, market trends, and AI-enabled analysis to identify new product opportunities and improve existing offerings.
- Partner cross-functionally to bring new products from concept to rollout with strong go-to-market plans, training, and documentation.
- Own the architecture and optimization of the core systems that power the Private Events business, including CRM, event management platforms, reporting tools, and workflow automations.
- Improve the sales process from lead intake through booked event and actualized revenue, ensuring better structure, visibility, and accountability.
- Refine CRM setup, segmentation, reporting, automation, and pipeline management to support a more scalable sales engine.
- Create SOPs, playbooks, product cards, and training materials that improve consistency and execution across the Events organization.
- Support the SVP of Events on strategic initiatives tied to revenue growth, scalability, and product innovation.
- Analyze close rates, package mix, per-person spend, upsell penetration, and related metrics to identify commercial opportunities.
- Use AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to accelerate segmentation work, product development, brochure creation, proposal logic, and internal workflows.
- Act as a central connector across Events, Operations, Culinary, Marketing, Technology, BI, and Finance.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of experience in product strategy, sales operations, revenue operations, business operations, hospitality product development, or related fields.
- Proven ability to build or optimize systems, workflows, and go-to-market infrastructure in a multi-unit, hospitality, experiential, or consumer-facing business.
- Strong product instinct with experience developing, packaging, pricing, or improving customer-facing offerings.
- Strong fluency with CRM and workflow systems; experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, Tripleseat, or similar platforms preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to use data, customer insight, and operational judgment to drive commercial decisions.
- Comfort using AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate analysis, content creation, workflow design, and product development.
- Strong project management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Experience in hospitality, events, entertainment, restaurants, or adjacent sectors preferred.
