About the role

  • Support the VP of Interior Design & Art in the execution of interior design packages for franchise locations, ensuring alignment with Five Iron Golf brand standards.
  • Develop furniture layouts and elevations, furniture selections, lighting plans, finish palettes, and fixture specifications for new and retrofit locations.
  • Prepare and maintain design documentation including floor plans, furniture plans, finish schedules, lighting specs, and mood boards.
  • Assist in adapting core design standards to site-specific conditions while maintaining consistency across the portfolio.
  • Manage extensive coordination with furniture, lighting, finishes, millwork, and specialty vendors across multiple projects.
  • Request, review, and organize vendor quotes, lead times, samples, and submittals.
  • Track vendor deliverables, pricing, substitutions, and approvals across multiple franchise projects simultaneously.
  • Serve as a key point of contact between vendors, franchisees, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Resolve vendor-related issues including lead time conflicts, substitutions, budget constraints, and logistics challenges.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of professional interior design experience, preferably in hospitality, retail, entertainment, or experiential environments.
  • Strong experience with furniture layout and selection, lighting, finishes, and material coordination.
  • Proven ability to manage high volumes of vendor coordination across multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Google Sketchup as a 3D tool for developing 3D design models and/or details as needed.
  • Ability to produce renderings using Sketchup or other software highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar drafting software); familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with internal teams, franchise partners, vendors, and consultants.
  • Ability to balance design quality with budget, schedule, and operational constraints.
  • Experience supporting franchise or multi-unit rollouts.
  • Familiarity with FF&E procurement processes and lead-time management.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Comfortable traveling up to once per month for quick site visits.
