About the role
- Own end-to-end flow of products from raw material procurement to final delivery
- Forecast demand, manage supplier relationships, coordinate production runs, and oversee logistics to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery
- Optimize procurement, warehousing, and distribution processes to scale efficiently
- Track sales velocity, inventory levels, and lead times to forecast demand and prevent stockouts or overstocking
- Manage orders of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods from suppliers/manufacturers
- Coordinate with manufacturing partners to ensure timely product runs
- Arrange freight and transport to get finished products into warehouses (3PLs, distributors, or retail partners)
- Monitor stock at each warehouse, oversee inbound/outbound shipments, and ensure smooth replenishment
- Develop systems to reduce costs, improve accuracy, and shorten lead times
- Provide weekly/monthly updates on inventory status, upcoming risks, and procurement timelines
Requirements
- Experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics (CPG, supplements, or FMCG industry preferred)
- Strong forecasting and analytical skills (Excel/Google Sheets, ERP systems like NetSuite, Unleashed, or Cin7)
- Familiarity with international shipping, customs, and freight forwarders
- Ability to manage relationships with manufacturers, packaging suppliers, and warehouses
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
