About the role
- Identify and engage with potential new customers to drive sales
- Nurture strong relationships with clients to maintain loyalty and encourage repeat business
- Understand and promote company products and/or services
- Conduct market research and stay abreast of competitor positioning
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing and resolving customer queries or complaints
- Actively participate in sales team meetings and provide insights for improvement
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective strategies for promoting products or services
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients
- Handle negotiations and close sales deals effectively, meeting or exceeding sales quotas and goals
Requirements
- Proven experience in a sales role, preferably as a Sales Specialist or similar
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Strong understanding of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
- Proficiency in using sales software, CRM systems, and other relevant computer applications
- Ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field is usually preferred
