About the role
- Develop electronic systems and embedded solutions for battery-powered consumer products during the NPD phase.
- Drive concept creation and ensure technical feasibility for new designs.
- Perform advanced analysis and validation of electronic designs, ensuring reliability and compliance.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, industrial designers, product managers, and suppliers to integrate electronics seamlessly into product architecture.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies in electronics, IoT, and embedded systems to fuel innovation.
Requirements
- MSc/BSc degree in Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in electronics and embedded product development, preferably in consumer electronics or battery-powered devices.
- Expert in analogy, digital, mixed-signal, and embedded systems (C/C++, RTOS/bare-metal, drivers, debugging).
- Able to architect complete HW/FW systems, choose components, and define clear electrical + protocol interfaces.
- Strong in schematics, power architecture, and reviewing PCB layouts for SI/PI, EMC, safety, and manufacturability.
- Hands-on with lab equipment and EDA tools; can design or modify PCBs when needed, especially for critical prototypes.
- Proven technical leadership: mentoring, leading reviews, setting standards, and owning products from concept to field performance.
- Familiarity with wireless communication protocols, power management, and IoT technologies is a plus.
- Innovative mindset with a track record of delivering successful products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in English.
