Key responsibilities & impact

Manage supplier relationships through regular communication.
Resolve discrepancies with internal and external partners.
Maintain supplier price lists.
Process purchase orders, ensure timely delivery of materials, and handle demand forecasting.
Work cross-functionally with sales, accounting, and operations to support an efficient supply chain and high level of customer service.

What you’ll need

Education: High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of purchasing/planning experience, preferably within a distribution company.
Skills: Able to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical nature with the knowledge to interpret data to make decisions.
Ability to effectively resolve issues.
Effective communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Computer proficiency, including prior experience with an ERP system and Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of flooring products.
Experience with demand forecasting and other buying principles.
