About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own Fraud Mitigation product or product line from conception through end of life, including product management, development, and business development
- Manage, track, and report product performance throughout its lifecycle
- Drive product development and improvements, including roadmap and statement-of-direction development
- Own market-specific playbooks for issuer preferences, 3DS exemptions, network token adoption, routing rules, and retry windows
- Tune strategies for NA, EU, LATAM, APAC, and MENA
- Lead peers and dotted-line relationships through the project lifecycle
- Own incident runbooks, root-cause analysis, and reliability KPIs with on-call partners
- Prioritize features by quantified ROI and set OKRs tied to conversion lift and approval rate
- Author PRDs and sequence diagrams for gateway integrations
- Develop business cases for new product recommendations
- Manage product development from concept, design, testing, and production deployment through commercialization
- Negotiate between internal departments and clients to resolve problem statements and use cases
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years within the fraud payments ecosystem, including cards or digital wallets
- 4+ years of experience as a product manager
- Proven experience leading complex projects and driving product roadmaps
- Experience with Visa, Mastercard, and American Express card networks
- Experience with network tokens, vault/tokenization, and Apple Pay or Google Pay
- End-to-end payment processing workflow expertise, including authorization, capture, void, refund, success/decline codes, settlement, and reconciliation
- Experience designing A/B and multivariate tests for payment-method selection, routing, and retries
- Ability to quantify experimentation impact on authorization rate
- Ability to define and track approval, capture, and chargeback rates and issuer/PSP performance KPIs
- Ability to build Looker, Tableau, or Power BI dashboards and self-service views is a plus
- Ability to monitor global trends and manage approval strategies by territory
- Proficiency with analytical tools such as SQL, Snowflake, and Splunk
- Proficiency with APIs
- Must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization
